Directions for updating crop or grower data.


Updating/Changing Crop Data:
    Enter crop ID (4 digits), grower ID (all 4 digits) and password then click on 'Retrieve Data for Updating Crop' button to view current values for a crop.
    The changable information fields have an editable text box next to them. Some choices are restricted. Changable fields include: weight, on-hand, storage used, minimum, loading method, test data/general crop info. (restricted means the data can only have certain values, other information must be changed by contacting Hay Finder Project )
    Make any updates to the text boxes desired.* Double check that all information is correct - what you see is what you get into your crop record.
     Click the 'Update Crop' button.
    Go to www.hayfinder.org to do a search for your crop to make sure that your changes have been made.

note: universal crop access with valid growerID and password removed



Updating/Changing Grower Data:
    Enter full grower ID number (all four digits) and password.
    Click on the 'Display Grower Data for Updating' button to view the grower information.
    The changable information fields have an editable text box next to them. Changable fields include: grower name, whom to contact, general grower information, eMail address, web address, and promotion line.
    Changing the password requires entering the new one twice. Otherwise, leave it as is.
    Make any updates to the text boxes desired.* Double check that all information is correct - what you see is what you put into your Grower record.
     Click the 'Update Me' button.
    Go to www.hayfinder.org to do a search for your crop to make sure that your grower information changes have been made.
